Everything vaultforpump does, in plain words.
Overview
vaultforpump turns Pump.fun coins into token-backed NFTs. Each NFT holds a fixed amount of one coin, locked in an on-chain vault. You can:
- Buy an NFT with SOL: the app buys exactly the tokens it needs and mints it, in one transaction.
- Lock tokens you already hold into NFTs.
- Earn SOL: a share of the coin's creator fees goes to the NFT holders. The coin's creator sets it, up to 75%.
- Swap back at any time: burn the NFT and receive exactly its tokens, plus unclaimed fees.
- Launch a new Pump.fun coin together with its NFT collection, or back an existing coin.
Concept
Meme coins trade fast and are easy to forget. Most NFTs are collectibles with nothing behind them. vaultforpump combines them: an NFT you can collect, trade and show off, with a real amount of a coin sealed inside.
Three ideas
- Backed, not promised. The tokens behind every NFT sit in a vault controlled only by the program's rules, not by a person. The vault always holds at least what every NFT is owed, and anyone can verify that on-chain.
- One amount per collection. A collection sets how many tokens one NFT holds, and that number can never change. Every NFT in it is equal, so pricing and fee sharing are simple and fair.
- Holders share the upside. Coins launched on vaultforpump send part of their Pump.fun creator fees to the NFT holders. The creator decides how much, up to 75%, and every collection shows its holders' share.
How it works
Buy with SOL
Pick a collection, choose how many NFTs, and the app shows a live price that refreshes on its own. When you buy, a single transaction:
- buys exactly the needed number of tokens on the coin's Pump.fun bonding curve,
- moves them into the vault, and
- mints your NFT(s).
Solana transactions are all-or-nothing: if any step fails, nothing happens and nothing is charged. You set how much price change you accept (1–10%). If the price moves more than that, the buy is refused. Up to 2 NFTs per purchase on the Pump.fun route.
Use my tokens
Already hold the coin? Each NFT locks exactly the collection's amount from your wallet. The app shows how many NFTs your balance covers. Up to 3 per transaction.
Hold and earn
If the coin shares its creator fees with the collection, your NFT earns from the moment it is minted. See Fee rewards.
Swap back
“Swap back” burns the NFT and, in the same step, sends you exactly its tokens plus any fee rewards it hasn't claimed. Swapping back can never be paused. If the NFT is listed on a marketplace that froze it, delist it first.
Selling the NFT
NFTs are standard Metaplex Core assets, so you can transfer or sell them like any NFT. The right to swap back, and any unclaimed fee rewards, move with the NFT to the new owner.
Interrupted purchases
Every purchase gets a recovery number stored in your browser. If a page closes mid-purchase, the collection's Details tab tells you whether it landed. A purchase either happened completely or not at all, and retrying the same purchase can never mint twice.
Fee rewards
Pump.fun pays a coin's creator a fee on every trade of that coin, and lets the creator split that fee between several wallets. On vaultforpump the split has up to three parts:
- NFT holders: the creator's choice, up to 75%. This goes to the collection's rewards pool, an on-chain account owned by the vaultforpump program, and is split equally between all NFTs.
- The creator: the rest of the 75%. If the creator gives holders 50%, they keep 25%. If they give holders 75%, they keep nothing directly and earn through their own NFTs and tokens.
- vaultforpump: 25%, always. It funds development, audits and infrastructure.
The creator sets the holders' share once, during launch. Every collection page and card shows it, for example 50% of fees to holders.
How your share is counted
When new fees reach the pool, each NFT that exists at that moment is credited the same amount:
your share = new fees ÷ NFTs at that moment
The program keeps a running “earned per NFT” total, and each NFT remembers where that total stood when it was minted. That gives three guarantees:
- An NFT only earns from fees that arrive after it exists. Minting late can't capture earlier fees.
- The pool can always pay every holder at once. This is checked as an exact accounting rule.
- Rounding never costs you more than 1 lamport (0.000000001 SOL) over an NFT's whole life.
Collect and claim
- Collect new fees for holders. Fees build up on Pump.fun's side first. Pressing this button on the collection page pays them out (75/25) and credits every NFT. Anyone can press it, and it needs no special rights.
- Claim. On “My NFTs”, each NFT shows what it has earned. Claim one, or claim all at once; the SOL goes to your wallet.
- Swap back also pays out unclaimed rewards automatically.
The math, step by step
| Holders' share set by the creator: 75% | Result |
|---|---|
| 3 NFTs exist; 4 SOL of creator fees are collected | 3 SOL to holders, 1 SOL to vaultforpump |
| Each NFT is credited | 1 SOL |
| A 4th NFT is minted afterwards | starts at 0; earns from the next fees |
| 2 more SOL of holder fees arrive | each of the 4 NFTs is credited 0.5 SOL |
Which coins earn
- Coins launched on vaultforpump set their split during launch, with the holders' share the creator picked.
- Existing coins earn only if the coin's creator turns fee sharing on and picks a holders' share. Only the creator can do that, so community-made collections usually don't earn.
- The holders' share badge comes from the coin's live Pump.fun split, read on every visit: this collection's pool, 25% to vaultforpump, and the creator's part.
Edge cases
- Fees that arrive while a collection has no NFTs are held and go to the next NFTs.
- If an NFT is destroyed outside vaultforpump, its unclaimed rewards go back to the other holders.
- Pump.fun's own protocol fee is separate and is never shared.
For creators
Launch a coin with its NFTs
The launch wizard takes five short steps (Coin, NFTs, Your buy, Fees, Launch). In the Fees step you set the holders' share with a slider (0–75%) and see the full split before you continue. The launch itself then runs as four transactions you approve one by one:
- Create the coin on Pump.fun. If you buy at launch, the buy happens in this same transaction.
- Share creator fees: your chosen share to NFT holders (up to 75%), the rest of the 75% to you, 25% to vaultforpump.
- Create the collection with your fixed tokens-per-NFT amount.
- Lock your first NFTs from your launch buy.
If anything stops halfway, finished steps stay done and the wizard resumes where it left off.
Your launch buy: NFTs and tokens
You choose how many tokens to buy at launch and how many NFTs to lock from them. The rest stays in your wallet as plain tokens. Example: buy 12,000,000 tokens with 5,000,000 per NFT, lock 2 NFTs, keep 2,000,000 tokens.
Choosing the holders' share
A bigger holders' share makes your NFTs more attractive to collectors; a smaller one keeps more creator fees for you. At 75% you keep no direct creator fee and earn through the NFTs and tokens you hold. At 0% the NFTs are still fully backed but earn nothing. The share is shown on your collection's card and page.
Back an existing coin
Paste the coin's address. The app checks it first: token program, unsafe token features, whether anyone can freeze it, Pump.fun status, who created it, and existing collections. Coins with dangerous features (transfer fees, transfer hooks, permanent delegates and similar) are refused. If you are the coin's creator, you can turn on fee sharing and pick the holders' share in the same flow.
Choosing tokens per NFT
This number can never change, so pick it carefully. A larger amount keeps the fixed per-NFT costs (about 0.007 SOL) small relative to the price. A smaller amount keeps NFTs affordable as the coin's price rises. Optional settings: a maximum number of NFTs, and a small SOL fee per mint (up to 0.1 SOL, fixed forever).
Reading a collection
- fully backed
- The vault holds at least as many tokens as all NFTs are owed. If it ever didn't, it would show UNDER-BACKED; the program is built so that can't happen.
- X% of fees to holders
- The share of the coin's Pump.fun creator fees that goes to this collection's holders, read live from the coin's fee split. The collection page shows the full split and whether it is locked.
- by token creator
- Made by the same wallet that launched the coin on Pump.fun.
- community
- Made by someone else. Still fully backed by the same rules, but check it before trusting it.
- graduated
- The coin left the bonding curve for PumpSwap, so buying with SOL in the app isn't available yet.
- Verify the numbers
- A button that re-adds every NFT's claim and audits the rewards pool directly from the chain.
Costs
| Item | About |
|---|---|
| The tokens inside the NFT | market price on Pump.fun |
| Pump.fun trading fees | included in the price shown |
| NFT account rent | 0.0032 SOL |
| Metaplex Core create fee | 0.0015 SOL |
| Claim record rent | 0.0021 SOL |
| Network fee | 0.000005 SOL |
| Total on top of the token price | ≈ 0.0068 SOL per NFT |
| Rent returned when you swap back | ≈ 0.0044 SOL |
A first-time buyer also pays small one-off account rents. The app always shows an exact breakdown before you sign, and a hard maximum you will never exceed. Collections may add their own fixed mint fee (up to 0.1 SOL), which is shown in the price.
Safety & trust
What the program guarantees
- The vault is owned by the program. There is no admin withdraw, sweep or “emergency” function. Tokens leave only when an NFT is swapped back, for exactly its amount, to its current owner.
- After every action, the program checks that the vault holds at least what all NFTs are owed, and that exactly the right amount moved.
- Only the current owner can swap back or claim an NFT's rewards. Fake or copied NFTs are rejected.
- An NFT can't be swapped back twice; it is burned in the same step.
- The tokens per NFT, the mint fee and the fee receiver are fixed when a collection is created and can never be changed.
- The admin can only pause new NFTs. Swapping back is never blocked.
- Every transaction is simulated before your wallet asks you to sign. If the simulation fails, nothing is signed.
What still needs trust (and our plan)
- Audit. The program has not been audited yet. An independent audit comes before mainnet.
- Upgrades. Solana programs can be upgraded unless locked. The upgrade key will sit in a multisig, with the policy published before launch.
- Fee split lock. Pump.fun lets a coin's creator change its fee split unless they give up that right. Locking it at launch is planned; until then the app shows on every collection whether the split is locked.
- Pump.fun steps. The Pump.fun instructions follow Pump.fun's published interface and are being verified on devnet.
- Freeze authority. If a coin's issuer can freeze token accounts, it could freeze the vault. Such coins need an explicit, public acknowledgement from the collection creator, and the collection page warns about it.

- Audit
Independent security audit, multisig upgrade control, fee split lock at launch.
- Mainnet
Launch. The date will be announced on X first.
Later: buying with SOL after a coin graduates to PumpSwap.
Risks
- Market risk. An NFT holds a fixed number of tokens, not a fixed value. Meme coin prices can fall sharply, even to near zero.
- No guaranteed income. Fee rewards depend on trading volume and the coin's fee split.
- Software risk. Smart contracts can have bugs. vaultforpump is unaudited prelaunch software.
- Third parties. vaultforpump depends on Solana, Pump.fun and Metaplex, which can change or fail. vaultforpump is not affiliated with Pump.fun.
- Coin issuers. A coin with a freeze authority could block swapping back.
- Regulation. Rules about tokens and NFTs differ by country. Check what applies to you.
Nothing here is financial advice or an offer to sell anything.

FAQ
Is there a vaultforpump token or presale?
No. There is nothing to buy before launch. Anyone offering a vaultforpump token is not us.
When is launch?
After devnet testing and an audit. The date will be announced on X first.
Can the team take the tokens in the vault?
The program has no function that lets anyone, including us, take tokens out except an NFT holder swapping back. Program upgrades will be controlled by a multisig until the program is locked.
Does the creator get anything?
Yes, the part of the 75% they don't give to holders, plus whatever their own NFTs and tokens earn. vaultforpump always takes 25%.
Why only 2 NFTs per purchase?
A Solana transaction has a size limit. Buying on Pump.fun and minting 2 NFTs fits safely in one atomic transaction; 3 would not. Repeat the purchase for more.
